Addicted to skiing

When did you first realize that you were hooked on skiing?

I don't know if it was a totally concious thing for me at 1st, but the pull was strong enough that I gave up my previous life & career after less than 5 days of skiing.It took me almost 6 months to get my affairs in STL in order,& 15 years later I'm still a ski bum in Colorado .

It's like I was Navin R. Johnson & I'd finally found out what my "Special Purpose" was.

After my 5th season out here I kind of realized that there was definately no going back to a regular life no matter how much I might want to at some point in the future.

15 seasons in ,I can't imagine life with out my addiction.It has a hold on my life & challenges my relationships with women for my affections since I can't seem to find one that loves to ski like I do.

I think it's very obvious that you are the only one "addicted" to skiing... The rest of us are just dental professionals trying to make our way through life.
