How much? I mean can it fit boots with 300 and 315 mm sole lengths? Maybe more? Now I've got 300mm boot but it's highly possible that I'll change it to the larger size one.

I'm not sure I fully understand the question but I'll try to help anyway.
My guess is you're asking if the bindings will take boot sizes between 300-315 AFTER being mounted for 300 mm. sole length.
I've also never heard of P-15s. Do you mean P-14s or am I missing something?
The US doesn't import the look p15, which is the Rossi 150. Don't know why, they just don't.
total range is 28mm on p14; i.e. +/- 14mm
if you've got a p14 mounted for 300, 315 will work - barely
if p15 is like p18 heel; don't know - haven't played with any of the pairs I got
Is the P-18 heel mounted directly to the ski instead of a sliding plate a la P-14/Race 140s?
I seem to recall that but I'm not entirely confident of my memory.
You most likely will not get that much adjustment out of the p18 if it was mounted correctly, if you where mounted at the far front of the range, then maybe, but I doubt it.
P15 and P18 use the turntable ZR heel.
I would mount them with the forward pressure screws adjusted as far out as you can get them and still have some threads grabbing. Even then, I don't think you'll get 15mm of adjustment out of them.
Isn't a 300 to 315 bootsole a jump from a 25 to a 27? Your current boots must be pretty damn tight.
1. Actually, we have p15 here, which has exactly same construction, as p18. More than that, my friend told me that rossi has race-stock 120 which are available "mad cheap" now - i'd take them, but first need to check if they are "team"/ "junior" series.
2. I've test-mounted my TT09 (which has the same heelpiece) to fit them both, but i had to fully tighten forward pressure screws for 300mm sole and almost completely unscrew them to fit 315. I'm not feeling safe for 315 position.
3. Of course, my new boot will be shorter, than 315 - it's just sole length of the second boot, currently available for my experiments.
It seems like I should carry on some test-mountings by myself before mounting them in workshop with binding jig... so I need to get new boots first to check their sole length.
Thank you anyway, guys.
Those 120s has a plastic toepiece while the heelpiece is the same as on the p15/p18 bindings.Quote:

We have 10 pairs of that toe (well some Rossi 18s, look WCs, Look P14s) in the house. Some are quite old & one pair is at least 4-5 seasons old. Most of them are mounted to my fiancee's race stock skis (... thus they have been skied in snow drenched w/ salt-fertilizer to firm up the surface). We have never seen the need to do anything but clean off the skis/bindings w/ a towel.
I think those holes are there to save wt, ease assmebly, & drain internal moisture. Never done a thing to them & never had a problem w/ it.
If your still concerned call PJ or Todd at RaceStockSports.com these guys sell more of them than you can shake a stick at!
those holes are there for assembly reasons only! Do NOT! put any lubricants into there! it can cause serious damage to some of the internal plastic parts, yes even on hte metal P18, there is still some plastic inside.

Actually I've changed the lubricant on my old TT09 toepieces. I've used non-agressive low-temperature capable lubricant "Lithol", and the binding works fine. But I did it not through that hole, but after disassembling the toepiece (which is easy even when it is already mounted - you need only to completely untighten and remove DIN screw). Anyway, those spings looks as non-rusting, I've lubricated the binding mostly to make it work smooth 'cause I wasn't sure if no paint/plastic particles infiltrated into it when I removed old paint from it.Quote:

I mean the binding is great and my favourite and still mounted on both pairs of my skis, but... if you'll fuck the toepiece that way being on vacations in mountains, chances to fix or replace it are close to zero, so I need more reliable stuff :(Quote:

This is true, it is the only correct way to lubricate the binding, I just figured if anyone had to ask, then they probally dont have the knowledge or background to do it themselves correctly.
SSSSSQQQQUUUUUAAAAWWWMMMAAAAANNN!!
Always grease the holes.
Your boyfriends will get pissed otherwise.
