That fucking sucks!
That's terrible. RIP.
Wow. That sucks bad. On his day off from ( from what I read in the article ) being in constant Avalanche territory, dude takes an out of town buddy out on an afternoon tour. RIP.
Damn. That is terrible news.
RIP
Shitty.
that's really tragic
RIP
didn't see this thread...just posted that to the OR thread
very sad
oh no
Fack. Sucks to hear.
Holy shit - I went to HS with Kip. Didn't realize he had already become director there. Very sad. He had an infectious love of the mountains. Condolences to his loved ones.
Speechless. So sad. Sorry to hear we lost another good one.
RIP... Condolences to family and friends :(
This. Fucking. Sucks.
Best wishes to those involved, as well as friends and family.
Sad news. Hits close to home - Kip was one of my Avy 1 instructors. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.
RIP Kip.
Condolences.. Very sobering when people like him that know far more than I do about snow safety and current conditions get taken out.

More details. Vibes to his buddy, revived Kip only to see him pass from his injuries. Heavy.
Really shitty news. I was surprised to find the director of the WAC was only 29. Must've been a super capable dude. Condolences to all who knew him.
Fucking cornices man. Sounds like he just underestimated it a little bit. Everyone has gotten away with that one at some point.
wow. that's heavy. RIP
from a learning perspective, it'll be interesting to see the report. what were his injuries? why did the team move after the CPR revival? how long had they planned on being out on their tour? were they in a hurry because of waning light? etc.
Terrible story. R.I.P.
:(
Well, between this, (15 feet back!), and Monika Johnson near Alpental, I just don't give a shit what's "over there".
Just sucks.
