Did not know him, but that's a sad deal. He was a groundbreaker. Condolences to his family and friends.

Yeah. Great dude. Good buddy from my days in Berkeley and Yosemite in the early 90's. Rope gun climber but so much more than just a climber.

I did not know him but am real friends with a few former valley and eastside rats that were real friends with him....
