TR: Whitewater Vicinity
Took a quick trip up to Nelson this past weekend from Bozeman to make use of the free days we get at Whitewater through the powder alliance. We skied at the resort on Sunday, nice soft turns for most of the morning.

Beautiful trees round these parts.

The next morning we went for a little tour up along the southish facing ridge adjacent to the access road. The morning started off with blue skies but gradually clouded up again.

We skied down through some meadows and trees, then headed back to Bozeman in time to catch a great storm at Bridger. All in all a great trip!

Whitewater Trip
Nelson and Whitewater are such great spots.
I remember getting to the rope for entering Ymir Bowl just as the patroller was opening things up with 30cm of fresh.
His comment, "Congratulations Boys, you just won the lottery!"
He wasn't far off with his comment as it was exceptionally good.
Local NBC Wild Honey is amazingly good brew after skiing.
Wish I got a chance to hit the Kootenays more often.
