DVD>WMV Conversion

I have a dvd that I would like to upload to my computer and convert it to WMV or some universal format so I can link it to a website. What steps do I need to take? The DVD is about 4 minutes long so it is not that big of a file

You need to "rip" it. Go to http://www.doom9.org/software.htm and pick some ripping software that does what you want.

MP 10 will rip for you.
