iMovie question...how to export to large mpeg
yeah yeah, tech talk bitch!
ok, so Mt. Bailey Cat Skiing wants to use my video for ads and promotion. Yeah! Free cat skiing in exchange!s
I need to get them a copy of the file in as high quality as possible. The original is 1 gig or so.
I have figured out how to export using the expert settings and can select mpeg-4 as the format. But when i try that, it comes out as a 35mb file and is a 2"x3" square, which is perfect for the web but isn't big enough to give away on a disc for later viewing. (They are going to a ski club show in Chicago and want to distribute discs to the clubs.)
when i export the file to quicktime in "full DV quality",i get a .mov file that my PC (the one with the CD burner) can't read. It says that quicktime can't read .mov files. Weird.
Ideally, that would be the file that I give to them. But I'd accept a clean copy that would fit on a CD in data format.
help! thx in advance...
