JONDACHI FEST 2016 in Tena, Ecuador 1/15/2016

VIVA EL RIO JONDACHI! The Jondachi River, one of the last remaining pristine tributaries of the Amazon and Ecuador’s premier kayaking destination, is threatened by imminent hydro development. JONDACHI FEST is a grass-roots, volunteer-driven community river festival and kayak competition in support of the iconic FREE-FLOWING Jondachi River.

THE UPPER JONDACHI RACES! Jondachi Fest 2016 will host Rec and Pro division races on the class V Upper Jondachi River. Come paddle amongst the monkeys, butterflies, and buenos amigos on this spectacular stretch of river! Come on down to Ecuador this January for superlative whitewater, stellar dance parties, and innovative discussion of international watershed conservation, all in celebration of the legendary Jondachi River!
