Foot pain after surgey

Week 8 of ankle surgery (broken fib) and cleared to walk in a boot. My ankle feels great but my foot and Achilles are killing me. I have been hitting the pool every other day and I can finally limp with out crutches but I'm not sure if the pain is going away or if I am just getting used to it. Anyone else have foot and Achilles pain after getting mobile again? I can stand no problem but moving kills.

See my thread about peroneal tendon pain. I've been weight bearing for two weeks after 10 weeks off of it. I can limp without crutches for about 10 feet at this point. Still painful.
