Just to add something that is relevant to conditions up there. Snow on south faces was supportive until about noon and skied well, wouldn't want to be out much later than that. Get up early and for fucks sake if you are doing the Birthday Tour park in a way that doesn't leave the ass of your car hanging into Hwy 20.
Just spent a few days sledding up on terrain not far from Wa pass and its remarkably stable. Disregard this entier thread
I was near the headwall in Tuckerman Ravine a year ago and heard a HMMMMMPH. Avalanche conditions there today are presumably still hmmmmphy.
This report probably saved my life.
