Sex Changes are so common these days

So I'm filling out the renewal form for my drivers license and it says:

"Check here if sex has changed. Note: additional information may be required.
Change sex to: [ ] Male [ ] Female"


WTF!
I repeat WTF!!!

Really? Not that there is anything wrong with it but no idea it was common enough to include on Gov't forms. Damn.

One can only imagine how the process worked before.

There is one at my workplace, I kid you not. It was a big deal, and pretty much a media circus (we're a gov't entity). It was different to say the least to have to start calling this person by a new name and to suddenly find him/her frequenting the ladies room!
