Brighton report 11/21-11/23

lots of good turns off of great western, but still rocky in places due to all the wind. demoed a brand new pair of Crossmax's today because my shitty Tyrolia bindings were fucked and needed epoxy to be repaired (got a good deal i think, binding repair, ptex for core shots and waxing for 10 bucks) i thought the crossmax was aight i guess, definetly not worth whatever crazy amount they sell for.

I did my good deed for the year today, some gaper was goin down the cat track off of western and couldnt even snowplow without falling every ten seconds, so i stopped and spent the next hour teaching him how to ski. i usually would just ski by a gaper like this, but he looked like he was gonna get hurt if he didnt get som help, fast. In that hour we got from the top of the mountain to the base, the dude had no business being on the upper mountain. The cool thing was i was able to teach him how to turn, and by the time we got to the bottom he was able to link 8 or 9 turns without eating shit (had this been a powder day i woulda shown no mercy and prolly woulda laughed at him as i sped by:D ).

anyways, ill be up there pretty much every day till i can afford to get an alta pass

i just hope the dude gets some lessons, every time he fell i thought he was gonna tear apart his knee. having some good karma would be great, all i ask is for an injury free season. headed up for some afternoon turns now, this will equal the same amount of days i got all of last season.
