rough friday

well, im just venting, but heres what happened, all at 4 pm today:

1) i'm in a meeting with lumbergh, who tells me i have to do x, y, and z by noon on monday, and to do "whatever it takes" to complete it by then.

2) while i'm in the meeting, my dad calls to say that my granny in albuquerque is in the ICU with mysterious internal bleeding, and he and my mom are driving there from boulder tonight trying to beat the storm! it sounds serious and i feel so helpless! my parents told me not to come to albuquerque because there's nothing i can do.

so i guess i'm still driving to tahoe tonight and skiing sugar bowl for the weekend despite everything. i made a comitment to my roommate to drive up and ride together, and i also think it will help me somehow to connect with the mountain. any positive and calming thoughts are appreciated - i've gotta hold it together in the office for another hour and a half.

Don't go back to work Monday empty handed with a goggle tan! By that I mean don't go back at all, fuck 'em get a job nearer a mountain.

Enjoy the skiing and let yourself wander with it. Hope your Grandma's OK

Hey Britney, it's me, Teledumb, remember?;) You'll get through it, times like this I just say to myself, things are going to work out how they will regardless of how much I worry about it. Do your part, but other than that, have a good weekend skiing, as we all know, that's really the only time nothing else matters. Also hope your Grandma is okay.

Actually, the other teletwin and I are both 5'10", remember, he's the one that is built like a brick shithouse. Yeah, TeleSpice would be a good name for her. Ummmmm....I'm prolly close to 6'3" with boots, binding, skis, lifters under bindings, I think I could get there.

How tall is she? Why such the rigid rule, I could make up for it with my charming good looks.:rolleyes: Unless of course Altachic would be upset.;)
