PM Tom from Austria for the ill race setup...
Corn is popping! PM Rog aka Icelanticskier. He's really personable and knows everything about the EC! Great guy!!
Step 1: join a beer league
Step 2: graciously give pointers to the geezers you see in speed suits psyching themselves up for their 30 second run to glory.
Step 3: lay down your most epic performance so that every one of those geezers can watch slack-jawed as you blaze into local legend.
Step 4: realize just how fast you aren't when a 70 year old named Hans hands you your chin he just picked up off the ground after you watched him beat your epic time by 3 full seconds.....while chewing gum.
Step 5: post up the video of Hans in this thread.
I suggest making your first race a time trial against Toni Matt's Inferno time from 1939. If you can finish in less than double his time, I'll buy you a cookie.
Ben posts on EpicSki. Search for the "Hey everyone!!! Look at me!!! " thread...
Is this a RAX thread?
You're going to need a shiny suit of red Spanish rubber.

Just like Hemingway easily learning Italian until he took up the use of grammar, skiing faster than everybody isn't as easy when you have to make those turny things.
You owe us all a TR when you take your first podium.
Pffffft. We only ski powder on the East Coast. Nobody races.
I suggest you get a clue!
I forgot to add. You need to gain 50 lbs. after you buy your swank racing suit.
I call bs. I am the fastest. Ski off bitches.

Here's my 3-point plan:
1. Start with new gear. Get the fattest skis you can; they'll give you the most stability, which you'll need because you're the fastest. Also, get some telemark boots and bindings so you can really throw that outside ski around. That'll psyche out the competition.
2. Don't forget that your education comes first. So finish middle and high school.
3. Listen to your mum and eat your vegetables.
PM Rontele. He's regional president of the Eastern Beer League.
