Why does skiing hate me?
It seems like every thing I try never works out right.
for instance:
1) I try to get out the first time this season, but my parents wont let me go alone
2) the second time I get to go alone, but find out half way there that the mountain is closed
3) this time I get to go and actually ski, but there was hardly any terrain open
4) (this one is a three day trip to Jackson Hole) a) day one, I can't see shit. end of story b) day two: Beautiful day, but I decided I was going to learn to telemark that day. Bad idea c) day three, rain and dead tired from day two
5) Rain early clearing later. About noon horizontal rain. The pluss on this day was I got a free lift ticket
6) I think I'm missing somewhat of a decent day someplace up there
7) Planning on going up on tuesday. I checked the forecast and it says...you guessed it, RAIN :cussing:
As you can see I haven't made out very well this season.
So I ask anyone who might have some insight, Why does skiing hate me?
I'm pretty sure I've done nothing to it.

Its simple really.
You are a dumbass.
First, you live in South Carolina, which is not good ski country.
Get your dad fired so he can move closer to real mountains and cold weather.
Second, you completely fucked up your JH opporunity.
a) visibility is never zero unless you are above treeline. You need to learn to ski next to or among the trees where visibility is better. Also, work on kinesthetic senses, so you can ski with your eyes closed.
b) why the fuck would you waste a day at one of the best mountains in the US learning to telemark when you rarely get to ski. Agggghh, how fucking stooooopid.
c) it almost never rains on the upper lifts at JH. Get high and stay high.
Third, ULLR hates you.
