WTF? WTB Whippet Attachment BIATTTTCCCCCHHHHHH

Not a single bite on my last offering. A little creative perhaps. I know that there is a lonely whippet out there somewhere and you're not giving it the love it deserves. Bring it!

I need to buy another whippet attachment for my old model traverse poles. I don't wanna shell out for an entirely new pole just to have a third pole sitting around.

If you've got one that has seen more of your garage than the hills, I'll treat it real good. Treat your whippet to some of the trips it's missed out on by passing it along to me and I'll even send you follow up photos to help with the separation anxiety you'll likely have.

Benefits your whippet will enjoy with me:

- Riding in the Thule box on my car - this is much nicer than riding shotgun in your garage
- Multiple dawn patrols each week to exotic Wasatch destinations like: Mt Superior, Cardiff, Toledo, Pfeifferhorn, Timpanogos, Mt. Aire, and other locations that I can only reveal by photo
- Perhaps another trip to Rainier where it will hold my carcass on 60 degree ice of the Kautz glacier
- Partnership with my current whippet whose a SWMLFSP (Single White Male Looking For Skiing Partner)
- I'll even indulge the whippet with some indoor comfort in the summer where it'll hang on the ski rack next to my back door. I'll be sure to say "hi" to it daily and be certain it doesn't get dusty or rusty.

So, what do you have to loose?

I'm looking for something in the $40 range - I can always scratch your back as I work at a little gear outfit so wanna trade for something? All offers considered.

Since you're complaining that you get no response:

I have two Whippets that I use frequently. I will part with them for $3000 each.

I love my Whippets, so you can't have them. :fuckyou:

yea, it was pretty funny. Here I am, never climbed ice before, and I'm thinking I didn't want to bring ice tools, a mountaineering axe and trekking poles so I opt for the mountaineering axe and the whippet.

Then I'm on this ice pitch front pointing and trashing up it with my whippet. It did pretty dang good, but I never really felt like I had solid purchase either. I laugh now, but at the time it was a little pucker.

I almost caught some pucker down in Argentina with no whippet because I'd loaned my claw to snorkledeep, only to see him blowing by me with my claw in one hand and his whippet in the other and I'm like "Hey, gimme one of those!" We were kicking toes above about 3,000 feet of 40-45 degree ice rink refreeze crust that ended in trees. Worst shit I've ever skinned on.
