Missing Boaters
One of these guys is a local (North Carolina) guy...I've copied from another site.
Missing buddy, Cooper Lambla and crew. Here is the latest. Trying to get this to go viral. They hit the emergency button on their Spot Beacon on a river in Tajikistan. If these guys are asking for help, shit has gone very bad. Pass it around all you boaters. Need to see if anyone can offer any information.
Cooper's family (at the recommendation of the state department) has requested this to be posted to social media in the hopes that someone may be in the area that can provide any sort of assistance (kayaker, hiker, or anyone that has any pull locally). My understanding is that a helicopter was promised today and it didn't happen. It's also been promised for tomorrow, but at least one family is afraid it won't happen. Coordinates look like it puts them on the Balandkiik River.
