Well you can drink a beer while surfing, so it's got that going for it. Otherwise I generally prefer wakeboarding, but the wakesurf is a fun alternative when the water is shitty and you have a bunch of friends with. You need lots of ballast (people or water) for it to be good. As far as the demo goes - it's not too hard to pick up. It's just about finding the sweet spot. Have fun!
Hell, yeah. you should definitely try it out. Super fun, easy to do, low consequences when you wipe out. We always surf at the end if the day when people are too tired to ski more, but nobody wants to go in yet.
And with a little weight it ends up being better surf then 80% of the days on the East CoastQuote:
