Logan, UT?
Been a while since I've checked in here. I've got a work trip scheduled July 8-10 and will be in Logan, UT. As of right now I'll have pretty much the whole day on the 9th to explore the area. Is it worth bringing some rods/waders along for the trip? I don't mind driving a few hours if it's worth it. I fly out of SLC early morning on the 10th so I'm trying to keep it within reasonable distance anyway.

Absolutely bring the rod. It's going to be hot by then and all the streams are small, I personally would wet wade. The Blacksmith's Fork and another stream that comes out of Porcupine Dam (can't remember the name) both have some excellent small stream fishing. There are a couple fly shops in town that should be able to give you the lowdown.
