All this talk and pics of 'beginning of the season' parties from Utah to Cali have my taste buds screaming for excessive alcohol consumption and debauchery. Come on CO maggots and minions, let's show the rest of them up and have our own 'kick off to the season' rager. I would love to have it at my house, but I live out of the way from most of you. Anybody???? I have an inside connection of possibly getting some "entertainment" for the night too:D

Can't really offer up my apartment as it is a tiny shithole but would be more than willing to throw in for drinks and grub.
I'll offer up my house. It's pretty much downtown, but it is kind-of a crackhouse until I finish more remodeling. We have a liquor store right on our block that stays open to 11 so there wouldn't be any probs with running out of beverages. :D
I agree that the Coloraggots need a rager. The Tahoe kids and Utards definitely know how to do it right.
this needs to happen. i've got the room to host it, but it really isn't feasible since i've got kids. i'd rather not expose them to hours of maggot debauchery. ;)
we could look into splitting the cost to rent out a meeting room in a bar, like wynkoops. i've done this before for biz functions and it's not too terribly expensive, but it does eat in to beer money.
edit: md9's pad would be cool. we could all bring our tool boxes and "help" with the remodel. :D
Sounds good. If we could put it in a location along I70 on a Saturday night we could get people in many situations. Georgetown? Frisco?
Georgetown would gather more of the WP / Loveland people, and Frisco would get more people staying Saturday night in Summit etc.

Looks like most people will be either out of state over the T-day weekend or visiting family. So, I was thinking either the first or second weekend in December. MD9's place could serve as a great "in da hood" themed party, or we could go with FG's ski burning/bonfire/no rugrats (good idea) rager.
I think renting a place out is a really good idea, but would probably be somewhat expensive. And we can't burn skis, sip 40oz.s on da porch, etc., etc.
What day of the week works best for everyone?

I am stepping up behind Foggy goggles. I have a house in Westminster, extra room and a basement with carpet, yard for dogs. Even though I havent met anyone beside iskibc, I'll throw my name in the ring. We could start at A-basin, do some turns, do the parking lot thing, then move it back to the other side of the divide. Ya hear me?? Any time after T-day is good, early december to get in our Boulder students before finals which would be the weekend of the 6th or 13th. But if its going to be that kinda party, i vote for the crack house.
