What are the best custom ski boot liners?

Custom liners: Don't know too much about these, but I need to buy a pair soon.

I've been told by a few trusted bootfitters that the heat molded liners (intuition & thermoflex) are going to be too soft & low performance for me. I tired an older set and they were way too mushy.
I have to wear these boots 40 hours a week, so I don't want a painful, rock-hard racer's fit either.

What do Y'all think I should get?

The Daleboot liners (www.dalebootusa.com) are pretty stout: mine are on their sixth season. But they're a wraparound style, which may or may not play nice with your boots.

I've got some Conformable foam injected liners, and contrary to what some believe, they're not hard or stiff at all. Mine are old, have a ton of days on them, and are in need of replacement, but I would never consider anything else. They fit soooooo good, I don't think there's any way they can be uncomfortable. Well worth the price, IMO.

I have the same. I agree, they are not hard and stiff. Quite confortable!

custom liners have been discussed before in techtalk, fyi.

why do you need custom liners?
fill up room?
make the boot warmer?
stiffer?
softer?
old ones just worn out?

differnt needs = differnt liners

I have funny feet with huge bone spurs.
I need a tighter fit around around my ankle.
I need a higer volume tounge.
I want a tight fit without crushing the buckles down and putting my feet to sleep.

I pretty much have the shell shaped to my foot now, but the fit still isn't perfect. now it's time to finish the job.

Warm feet would be nice, too.

i need a liner for my size 10 dobermans to take up space. tough situation, because the liners wc/ take up space are thicker and softer(?) and may take away from the performance of the firm liners in there now.

help?

I have some of the lower volume feet known to man and also am rocking the Dobie WC. You are going to be tough pressed to get any aftermarket liner in there. Is the shell sized correctly? There is sooo little room in there that I guarantee a Zip won't fit unless the shell is too big. Now if you have the Dobie Pro, maybe something will work. I would prolly check out the intuition or something like that that is thin.

just curious.. how do the dobies perform off-piste?
