OK, I got the skis from Cupolo and that worked out great, but evidently, they can't get Freerides.
So, fellow floozies of the fresh, where is the best deal on freerides?

why can' tthey get the freerides? i haven't been told this yet from them(but i'm not surprised)
EDIT: just called, and he told me the same. too bad the guy didn't even have my credit card info yet or i'd be getting a credit. oh well, off to gear direct i go
I just talked to them and they said my order is not going to happen. Given that I've had good relations with 'em and gotten the Explosivs, I suspect that they just can't get them from BD. But that's a guess from some innuendo in my talks with them.
Call 'em up and ask.
And if you've never had a job dealing with the public, just try to be cool to them. Public interface jobs suck, so have some compassion.
$239.00 at Gear Direct, and they will match any price in the nation. Good shipping if the price is right.

Their site says $275. That's without wide brakes or shipping included. Backcountrystore.com is $284.99 with wide brakes and shipping included (wide brakes are about $35 to $40).Quote:

I can look into a Euro connection on this. Are you guys considering a group buy?
i'd be in for a group buy
I've got a good deal for you buster. Take those jive ass free Marker's you're getting from LOM and make sure you request a model that REI sells (look on REI.com). Take them to REI, return them for store credit, have the customer service person give you a gift certificate and go online and order the Freerides from them. With a bit of work they should be almost free. How's that.
You will go far, my son...Quote:

Service-plus. good thinkin, boss. yer dialed, bustah.
I looked all over for freerides last season and the best price i could find was from bd. Euro vs dollar prices were comparable everywhere, shipping varied some, but bd's price was inline. BD won because they threw in the fat brakes for free. Not sure if they are still doing this, and they didnt make it look like they would, but bitching about it got me results.
A friend of mine is also looking for Freerides - might be interested in a group buy.
He lost a G4 with a freeride near the bottom of Stonecrusher/Rustler sometime last week right before dark. So on the odd chance anyone has a single Freeride or G4 or happens to find his ski at Alta - pm me and I'll get you in contact with him.
Splat, I'd be in on a group buy, and twice on thursday.
Three times if anyone wants to think about a GB on some Naxos....
AG, your buddy should hike up come late spring when stuff starts to melt off. I've gone up and retreived gear up there more than once.
Paid $290 for my Freerides with the wide brakes at BD last night, mounted.
I'm sure he will, but it's a long time from now... Think he wants to get something in the meantime.
