Level I Avalanche Training-Northern California

Pinecrest Nordic Ski Patrol through Pat Callery (MLR Avalanche Advisor) extend an opportunity to all fellow backcountry enthusiasts interested in a great Avy-I program.

There are two weekend sessions:
1. January 26-27 at Pinecrest, CA (just east of Sonora)
2. February 3rd- China Peak Resort out-of-bounds area (east of Fresno)

We take all forms of snow transport including boarders, snowshoers, AT and Telemark. As the field session is backcountry, a free heel is necessary.

Free overnight accommodations available for the Pinecrest weekend.

Cost for public is $150 including text.
