One pair of skins for three pairs of skis?

I know the "one pair of skins for two pairs of skis" topic has been done.

What about this though? Currently using the same skins for a 190 DPS Wailer 112 and a 191 ON3P Wrenegade, both 112 mm underfoot. Just acquired 186 Praxis Freerides, 106 mm underfoot. The Freerides seem quite close in length to the Wailers, but wondering if the waist difference is too much to keep the same skins (after of course trimming them for the Freerides).

The Freerides will have Dynafits so the Wailers and Wrens, which are mounted with Barons, will from now on do shorter and sidecountry tours only, less technical stuff.

Odds are itll be fine especially if the wrens and wailers only come out for soft days. I share skins between praxis wootests and protests and don't have issues since the protests only experience fresh conditions. The skinny skin only really sucks for hard sidehilling and glazed over skintrack highways.

I'm 95% sure Nick Mccnut uses the same g3's on his 191 live frees, 194 new life's, and 181 labs......

I use straight 110mm skins on my RP112's, no prob, and I have a touch more coverage at the mid-point, but there is probably alot less skin overall then you'll have after trimming your skins wall-to-wall on the Freerides.

Slit 'em up the middle and run 'em to the edges if you need it..

Can you please explain this tip???? I've heard of it in the past, but not sure of the exact logistics,

That should work fine especially since the wider skis are side country
