Cracking in the Wasatch

Lots of wind, lots of new snow. Avie danger was HIGH yesterday and slightly less today. The Forest Service of Utah Avalanche Center reported 9 skier triggered avalaches yesterday alone. There have even been some natural releases. http://www.avalanche.org/%7Euac/phot.../SH-on-bed.jpg

It's scary out there right now, but damn it is nice to have our avie forcasts up and running this early in the year.
