Safety Tip: Take a text file with your contact and upload it to the memory card that lives in your camera. Then if/when it's found the finder will be able to contact you. Of course, they might just come and rob you instead...
Anyway, there have been many instances where people have been able to use social media to locate a camera's owner. Did you know that it's possible to upload the images to google images and it will search the web for copies of that image? Easy to do, and worth a shot.....

Wouldn't work for me since I simply reformat the card after I download the images. Way cleaner than erasing them - seems to make my cards perform better. Maybe if I upgraded to more modern CF cards...Quote:
