So I went jibbing saturday night and didn't do anything huge but my knees are now killing me, my MCL is just about dead. its been hurting for 2 days now and I don't know what to do and I'm scared. What should I do help??!!!!!

Go to the fucking doctor?
Chances are if you don't remember doing anything specific, it prolly isn't too bad. Stick with basic care stuff for now. Ice 20 min on with an hour or two off, repeat as necessary. In another day or so move to heat on the same on/off schedule. If it doesn't get better see seldon's post.Quote:

If it's been hurting for 2 days (badly... and I'm assuming swelling), then he should probably at least be on crutches. I badly sprained my MCL in a bike crash and was on crutches for 4 weeks, along with the usual RICE + advil routine. But I had to have an MRI done to make sure I hadn't actually torn anything. If it's already been hurting for two days, and hurting badly enough to make it worth posting about (like I literally couldn't bear weight), he should be in a doctor's office.Quote:

Hmmm.... I wasn't trying to rag on him. Vinman, I certainly didn't to belittle your medical knowledge - there's just no reason for him not to go to the doctor, and based upon what I was told for the future, if he continues to walk around on it he could be permanently damaging himself.

But your post sure sounded like you were ragging AKPM, (see crashes post).
