The Apprentice, season 3

ahhh, the redneck season...

Anybody been watching this? I watched the first episode, and told myself I didn't want to watch the rest due to their utter lack of class or subtlety, but I find myself oddly transfixed, watching it every thursday...goddammed TiVO! I mean, if I recorded it, I might as well watch it...

ANYWAY. As I was saying, no class. "College sucks! High school rules! We're richer! We're gonna name ourselves NetWorth!" And the college guys..."Magna" as in Magna cum laude...how faggoty can you get?!?!?!?

I was glad to see Todd and Brian go - the two biggest pricks, disposed with in the first two weeks. Somehow I didn't understand how they let Verna stay after her meltdown on episode 2 - is she a diabetic or something, where she HAS to get food & sleep on certain schedules for blood-sugar or something? Anyway, glad to see her finally walk in ep. 3.

Not super-satisfied with Danny's canning...I remember on episode one, watching this guy thinking "this fucking hippie isn't going to last a day", but he pulled together really well. Sad to see him flail so much as a leader, and Micheal's conduct certainly did not merit his exemption (especially him threatening fellow teammates and his team leader), but you don't make decisions as a leader through committee votes.

anyway. Not as good as previous seasons, but still...stuck...watching....it....

especially considering I work M-F, and there's no snow here, so no skiing to go do. hmph.
