Title pretty much says it all. Looking for savings and checking and I don't have a lot of money. I've been pretty happy with WECU up here in Bellingham, but it looks like there are a lot more options down in Seattle. Anyone have any opinions?

we use usaa for $$$$ stuff and i stash cash at b of a.

BECU without a doubt for me. Great rates, real people, good website, easy to transfer money, easy deposits at all machines. Only downside is that there are few actual bank Centers, but the ATMs are so dynamic, you dont really need them.
I have B of A & Chase locally. Usaa for savings/investments. Not crazy about B of A. They on multiple occasions have frozen my debit card when I was traveling for my own protection. I travel a lot and they wanted me to call them to let them know on each trip ( like they are my parents) which I promptly told them I am moving my business accounts over to Chase. The upside to B of A is that they give you full credit on your deposits the day of the deposit if you go in the branch. Chase makes you wait till the next business day. The Chase Iphone/Ipad app is top notch. I have been told that Key Bank is good and the few times I have been in their branches they seem to treat you like family.
BECU seconded. Never had any issues. Super low rates on loans, hassle free everything, no bullshit fees like at a bank and you can use just about any other credit union in the country for basic banking needs if you aren't in WA.
