Maybe try to develop psychic ability.
For busy places like teton pass or lcc it might be nice to have a beacon that also functions as a taser
beacons that explode when a cellphone within 1m receives or places a call or text message.
Helis make the whole touring thing waaaay easier ;)
Depending on how sharp your teacher is just go with some crap about sonar and infrared. My high school physics teacher thought I was a genius but he wasnt the sharpest teacher I ever came across.
