Long Shot, but has anyone had experience with very short duration camera/flash setups? I'm looking for 1/100,000s shutter speed or better. Most appear to be arc gap flashes and cost an arm and a leg, but I'm trying to put something together for a reasonable price. I want to image detonations moving at up to 8000 m/s. It is no small task. Photron makes some amazing high speed cameras, but I cannot afford them....
