Drove back home from Boston at 2:30am this morning in the middle of the gurg'ing. AND STILL DOING 50 ON THE HIGHWAY!
Never felt safer in a car before.

Akpm, If your campaigning for the job of designated driver? it's not working :p
I'd go faster but I always have the haunting memories from driving through blizzards in the middle of the night and almost plowing into a bull moose up in upstate NH.
I drive a little more conservative now, except for the ebrake slides across intersections.
I've got snow tires on my Subie. I had it in snow up over the front bumper with all-seasons once, can't wait to see how deep I can go with these ;)
I have Blizzaks on my outback and when we got the 168" in 16 days, I drove too and from Solitude daily with no concerns or real difference in driving.
it does kick ass
This is the 1st year I ponied up for some snow tires,& they are so worth it!
probably better me then youQuote:

I've got Goodyear Assurances (no studs) on all four wheels 2002 Outback and they kick ass in deep snow and ice. I am yet to loose traction!!!Quote:
