Hallway - 1/23/05
We actually found the entrance this time. Took a lap in Day's, skiied Hallway, then skinned back to cardiff pass for a corn run to the car.
We took the middle entrance we took a picture of Friday. It turned out to be no problem at all once we actually started skiing it. The turns varied from good to pretty chattery.

Congrats on your find. Persistence pays off.
I love 'The Tube', more fun than the couloir.

Hey Gramps, did you get a chance to look at Holy Moley in the past few days? I was eyeing an early season pic I took of it and would love to go nail it in the next couple of days if it's holding snow.
On a similar note, how's the Y looking? Any tracks in it?
Oh yea, nice photos!

sweet
way to get 'em. :yourock:

Was looke at holy mole on the way out today. Looks sweet, except for one rocky bit. APD knows it pretty well, ask him maybe. The Y still hasn't been done, coverage is still thin at the bottom

gramps, glad to see your touring partners are over their hangovers.
pstash, holy mole should be fine right now. i skied the upper portion in november and it was great. the lower part should be filled in just fine right now. if not, you can always traverse left and get a nice chute down to the apron. in low snow it requires some fancy footwork to get in. i have some pics if you want me to email them to you.
