Forum slow or will not load tethered to droid

Or for that matter, I have a lot of trouble just trying to access tgr from the droid internet interface direct.
When I tether my computer to net via droid I have very little trouble looking at other sites so I suspect it is the
ad server content that is the problem. I can even look at other V Bulletin forums without issue tethered. I can get on paypal and complete most functions except printing a shipping label which I believe is a Java program while tethered. Is there a way to have the ads dumbed down (if they are the culprit) so that they don't prevent one being able to access the site? Also, the tether has failed to access tgr and then I can drive somewhere for wifi and the site loads fine.

2nd Problem
From regular hi speed connection on tgr cannot view Profile page of myself or anyone else....shows if for a second then goes to some form letter type page.
