Me and the Mrs. are defininitely in. Anybody interested in hiking further out?
me! me! I'll see you guys 10 at 10. (SuPu this is Jordan from a couple weeks ago). I'm looking forward to lots of hiking to escape the crowds.
Please, someone hit this double-stage line for me. Just be sure to carry enough speed off the bottom air to clear the flat traverses from people coming back from WS.
oh yeah!

I'll be there tomorrow, possibly Sunday. DG should be there both days. Anyone want to go in on a hotel room I have? PM me before I leave the office ~4:30PST today!
oh and ps -- I know a lot times we hit this area w/o the propa gear in the super stable spring, but please be careful...hope y'all will be beepin...

True that. Right now the warning is “Low” but that doesn’t mean “Zero” especially when you’re skiing potentially wind loaded steeps with convex roll-overs halfway down.Quote:

....I'll check it out....proper
I'm thinking the line between that area and West shore....the line I did last season that nobody else did
Definitely not going out there unless there are tracks....
In all honesty, a few first tracks don't mean shit for stability. If you're worried, we should dig a pit.Quote:

....at least the temps are warming up to stabilize the pack, but after seeing all these horrific crowns in Utah, I'll be playing on the safe side.
BCrider....I'm in SF today.
I think the snow will be plenty stable to go even if no one has headed out... we should just talk to patrol, look at what the wind has been loading, and dig a pit. It should be $$$ out there.Quote:
