if "in town" includes hunter creek i'd check that out. THE RENT IS TOO DAMN HIGH

I live in Centennial...right down the road from Hunter Creek. It's Pitkin Country employee housing, so you have to qualify income-wise (can't make too much). PM me if you'd like the name/phone number of the manager. I have no idea if there are any openings, but it's a rad little apartment complex.
Gracias, Hunter Creek is very much being considered. We'd just like to be closer to the core than ABC, ideally.

A studio in Centennial starts at $950 and a 1 BR at $1200. I don't think Hunter Creek is any cheaper. Castle Creek Apts would be one of the least expensive options and is still pretty close to town.
funken - thanks for the suggestion. our other issue right now is that we can only sign a six-month lease. Looks like Castle (and a lot of others) want a 1yr+
