shite... i really want to go to an avie class soon and start chipping away at my bc jongness. Free is a good start.

but no way in hell can i go to this one, since it's on a wednesday night during sundance... definitely will be bartending.

I've heard Bruce Tremper speak before, very worth it. And I hear Mike Jenkins speak every morning, also very knowledgeable and a good speaker. I'm going to try and make it.

I'll be at the SLC clinic and possibly the PC clinic as well. And, maybe I'll drive Frizzo up to PC to collect free drinks from skiguide.

My kids and niece were skiing at The Canyons Friday, thank God they were no where near the avalanche. In fact, they didn't even know about the slide until I picked them up at 5:00 PM.

It's never too early to start learning about avalanches - I'm bringing my 10 & 12 year-old children to the clinic with me.
