Smith Optics needs a Web Developer/Programmer!

General Summary: Supports the analysis, development & implementation of project approved by the IT Director. This position also assists in the development of internet & website(s) strategy, website design/development, programming, documentation & User training. Develops identified additional skills required to remain current with the best design & programming practices web needed to support the company’s system infrastructure & design. This position will be working extensively with text editors hand coding XHMTL/CSS, JavaScript, PHP & will require using these languages to interface with the company’s D3 database structure. Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, & MS Office products is required. This is an entry level web developer position intended for a potential candidate who wants to learn & expand their skill set over time.
