I've just bought a pair of skis with these bindings on them. Anybody have any experience with these clamps as I've never really heard much about them. I've been strictly a Solly/Look kinda guy.

I have a pair on some Head WC SL. No issues what so ever, but I don't ski a lot of the deep on them.
Skied on them year before last when I was a HEAD dude. Liked them; didn't have any props at all. Subjectively I'd still say that Salomon or Look would be a better option, but honestly I can't really back that up with bad personal experiences or anything. I wouldn't mind using them again.
Only drawback (told by a friend, didn't notie myself) is that the front pieces are a tad less accepting of worn down boot toe than some other bindings; but I think you'll have to own some pretty beat boot soles to notice (not that there ain't lots of such boots around LG).
What skis did they come attached too? Afaik you just bought some brand new Sanouks too, no?

Was actually speaking to the Head/Tyrolia rep at the cattle market that is Olympia ski show back in the autumn. I was wondering the same kinda thing myself.
Besides all the obvious attempts at selling them to me as reps should do, the one thing I did click on was the fact that only Tyrolia and Marker still actually have a TUV certificate, with regards to releasing at the 'right' time.
I haven't skiied on these, but know quite a few who do, including my old boss, who owns a ski store and yet through choice skis with Tyrolia whenever possible. I have not heard of anyone experiencing any of the problems some binders do seem to be known for when roosting around on Tyrolias in general.
This years FF17 (this may be a predecessor to it..?) is certainly put together solidly - quite heavy, but you just know you aint gonna bust it up in anyway! So if this high din is anything like that I would doubt there would be problems.

hey ive got them on my new blizzard 9.2s but i skied them only 2 days at 14.
no complaints here, but hey i didn't test them much :(
edit: we have so much in common we just HAVE to ski together ;)
but considering the conditions i don't think i'll go down to the mini.
The guy seling the Sanouks couldn't convince me he actually had the skis so I didn't send him any money. I think he was a con artist.
Those bindings are attached to Head Monster im103s. Mulletizer has convinced me that I need to step up to a proper manly ski. :redface:
I have that binding on my Head i.XRCs. Seems to be pretty solid. One complaint is they don't like snow on the bottom of the boot, but otherwise I've got no other complaints.

I use the FF+ d10 binding (din 6-17) on some Dynastar Bigs (194's). Have never pre-released, released when I needed it (only once), and in general seems to be well built. Only complaint is the not so wide 'wide' brakes I got with them...
