Bioluminescence
Brought the kids and wife down last night to watch some waves glow in the dark. It's as good as I've seen in the past, mainly due to a strong showing of bioluminescence and lack of moonlight.
Not my video but it gives you the idea of the show at night around here lately.

That's awsome. I surfed the lane this summer, and it was a full moon. As the sun went down, surfers got out. Tide was dropping, and the slot became a draining tube. As you pulled in, you could see the moon shooting through the lip. There are days when surfing is shit, days when surfing is epic, and days when surfing is downright spiritual. I can't believe I discovered this sport.

sounds like a sick session. I can picture the moonlit lip, sounds fun.
I did a midnight to 2am session once and surfed by moonlight, awesome experience. Except when everyone went in and my roommate at the time walked home. There's something about being out surfing around 2am that wasn't comforting once everyone was gone, especially with plenty of beers in my system. The climb back up the sand stone cliff was interesting because the tide had dropped a lot. Very memorable experience but looking back on it, pretty dumb but I got lucky
Back on topic, I stayed out late one night after sunset and all of a sudden my hands were glowing every time I paddled. It was the weirdest thing ever because I had no idea what Bioluminescence was at the time. I thought I was tripping watching the water glow around my arms at night
