Yeah, I know half the people here think he's a lame, money grupping jackass sell out, but nonetheless, I'm going to his show, dammit! I can't give up on Warren yet. Don't worry - I've already got the 12/12 TGR show in my calendar too.

Arty? Britney? Alka? Any of you going?

I"m heading over with a small army, and would love to hook up with any maggots going. I'm just too damn shy to yell for change for a nickel, so if you're going, maybe we can all grab a drink or three beforehand.

I'm gonna throw up a big fat Maybe and Depends. First off, where is it and how much? Second I may have to work, but most likely not. Third... it's Warren Miller, he's a skiing legend and I grew up watching him but... you know, it's a Miller film.

Arty - Holly, Christina, etc. and I are on for 9. We're doing some happy hour thing beforehand. If you decide to go, drop me a line and we can hook up. Hell, who cares what the movie is like - it's a good excuse to get together and hoot and holler about snow. I'm not picky :).

After rolling over and waking up. Yes just another unemployed day with nothing important to do, turned on the tube. Susan Blake on KRON channel 4 in SF was there interviewing Glen Plake. They flashed his name on the screen misspelled as Glen Plak, haha. Blake kept groping at his hair throughout the interview and could not get enough of how rubbery it was. He was in his best gigglin spirits. Nice to see him happy. Was there of course to promote the WM film Journey which plays at a number of BA locations in the next couple weeks. Showed a few fine clips which has me more interested...flying Squirrel over peaks WOW. Did let out the fact he will be at the SF show in person Thurs.

Since I'm in the South Bay was thinking of probably going to the Cupertino show Friday but friend is wobbling as he has a YV climbing date on Sat so I'm going to ask if hw wants to bother driving all the way up to SF after work Thurs. Gives me an excuse too to set up some kind of sunset photo of the city before the show. Would drive up to KW at dawn if I go Friday. -dave

Hmmmm. I don't think I'm gonna make it. I'd love to go drink and watch ski movies, but I'm not 21 and it's Warren Miller all the way up in SF. We'll get plastered at the Omen show on the 22cd at Kirkwood. Peace.

Sounds good. I'll be on line till about 2:30 or so, and after that you can reach me on my cell. Holly and Christina are both in, and I think Pete too, but can't recall.

drop me a liine and we can figure out where to hook up beforehand. Should be fun - WM is supposed to be there, so even though he's a money grubbing asswipe or whatever, would be very cool to meet/see him :)
