I saw this photo the other day, i still cringe when seeing it.

Ouch! I'm never complaining about my reef rash. Ever.

Damn!!! One tough woman.

I think if you've taken that much of a shot to your head at chopes you're lucky to be conscious and self-rescuing.

Holy shit, that must hurt like a son of a bitch.

I can't imagine the feeling of that much water rushing into the inner parts of my face, especially at a place like teahupoo.. I wish her the best of healings. Suffering a deep cut in the water is odd because the water flushes deep inside and you can really feel the filet of meat hanging. She charges hard and will come back strong.

Was that from that day a couple of weeks ago when they had to call the billabong pro contest off and it was a tow in day? There is some great raw footage from that day on youtube. KK goes down hard on a big one. Ha that last sentence sounded funny.

I think i heard Maya Gabriella or whatever had to be revived and was foaming at the mouth after a two or three wave hold down.

although i wonder if the blunt force itself was as hard as it looks - reef is SHARP, wouldnt have to impact it THAT hard to rip half your face off

I grinched when I saw the photo. That is going to leave a bad scar that I would hate to see happen to any woman.
