BREAKING NEWS!!!!11!!! Sharks live in the ocean!
breaking news, sharks eat people. dickhead.
NO WAY!!!
only if they are properly sauced. so don't drink and surf kiddies.
WAY!!!!!!
WHOA!!!!!!
yeah, three shark sightings in one week is abnormal. Not to mention the chewed up seal.
Thought you guys would want to check out a shark photo...
Jeez, if i'd known everyone was going to be such a jerks, I wouldn't have shared it...gosh
Don't tell me my business boy.

Actually, you'll find that sharks rarely eat people. It's the biting you need to worry about. If you're worried about it, stay out of the water. dickhead.
Three sightings in a week: is that counting the one that the lifeguards told us was unreliable or whatever because they didn't see it an hour later? That whole news clip reminds me of Mayor Vaughn -

"I'm pleased and happy to repeat the news that we have, in fact, caught and killed a large predator that supposedly injured some bathers. But, as you see, it's a beautiful day, the beaches are open and people are having a wonderful time. Amity, as you know, means "friendship".
There have been at least 3 sightings, 1 in Mission beach (2nd mission beach sighting was questionable), 1 near Childrens pool in LJ and then the 1 at Swamis.
jeez, find one cool shot of a shark in the local line up and share it and the fun police come right in and tell you you're an idiot because sharks live in the ocean, and they don't eat people...they just nibble on them and accidentally kill them.
i've been out "core guyed" by Hop yet again.
Call me when they are swimming in the street like in this pic of Puerto Rico after Irene

:D:D:D:D:D
Where did I call you an idiot? For the record, my post was more referring to the BREAKING NEWS report you linked to where the news folks seem to think seeing a shark in the water is BREAKING NEWS, not your post. That's why I mentioned the news reports, not your post, reminded me of Mayor Vaughn. But whatever, you can believe what you want. Idiot.
There, I said it! ;)
Whales live in the ocean too:
http://www.bing.com/videos/watch/vid...hale/1d022nthd
they don't like swells though. lazy fat fuckers just want to lay in warm water eating
Humpback whale basics: Warm water's for breeding, cold water's for eating. Monterey Bay = cold water = eating. Also, they're hardly lazy. A humpback holds the long-distance migration record for all mammals. http://rsbl.royalsocietypublishing.org/content/7/2/299
That is complete news to me, how did I miss that? I'm less than a mile from both spots.Quote:
also 2 last week, one in del mar and one at torrey pines.
Yes, we are wimps in Southern california but this is definitely far more sightings than usual. Multiple sightings on the same day in different parts of the county increases the chances that there are multiple white pointers
Tate, thanks for the post. It reminds someone like me, from Nor/Central, to keep my eyes peeled down there. Not a bad thing.
i saw a shark. like two years ago. i got out of the water. true story.
and that whale does seem lazy. i watched the clip, and he does not even brush his teeth. yuk.
anyway, surf's up. for both coasts. why all the anger?
Look closely, that is not a shark.
It was a great way to keep people out of the water though during the best S. of the summer.
Bilfish?
I didn't stay out of the water
