Ride Mianus
Hey everyone,
Just figured I'd post a little group mountain bike ride that runs out of the bike shop I work at ( Dave's Cycle and Fitness in Cos Cob, Greenwich, CT). It's just a fun little ride that me and my coworkers do on Tuesdays. It's an above intermediate level ride, and we usually move at a fast pace, but if you feel up for it go a head and stop by.
We usually leave around 6:15 pm for Mianus and ride till about 8:30-9, depending on weather and light. We also often go back to the shop for beer and food after the ride. So if you feel up to it or are close by and interested, go a head and swing by. The shop is on 77 Valley Road, Cos Cob, or you can meet us at Mianus park around 6:20-6:30.
I'm looking forward to seeing anyone there!
P.S.-A more advanced ride goes out of the shop every Wednesday as well around the same time.

Rontele really likes Mianus but has never ridden it. I would PM him to see if he still wants to ride Mianus.

Even though mtn biking wasn't invented back then...I think some real wise-ass native american is responsible for the purposeful naming of that park to reflect something that its future riders would not be able to say and keep a straight face under any circumstances.
Good work!

I think the Native Americans did that after reading William Herschel's tweet naming the planet between Saturn and Neptune. Or maybe it was the other way around. I forget.
