This is an interesting idea that I think might work just as well for skiing. Taylor Steele, who has been the gold standard of performance surf videos since he made Momentum in 1992, put out $100K to the surfer that submits the best video segment. Relative unknown Maui resident Matt Meola won it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again....I think Matt Meola is the best thing to come to surfing since Kelly Slater.
That kid has moves that don't stop....he seems to defy all the laws of physics at the same time.
I, too, think he has his feet glued to the board.......Gorilla Tape, maybe?
