Surely it can't be worse than Reloaded. I might just wait for Regurgitated...
I liked Reloaded. The whole controlled anomoly thing is classic scriptwriting. I'm excited to see Revolutions, the teasers look absolutely sick.
"The Matrix Revolutions sucks."
-- Peter Travers, ROLLING STONE
oh well, guess i wont see it
Tons of eye candy and action, thin on plot, just like the rest.
Go for the Special Effects, stay for Keanu's one liners: "Shit!"
It was.Quote:

Saw it today. I must say it sucked. I loved the first one. (Who didn't?) When I first saw Reloaded in the theater, I was let down. But since, I've bought the DVD, and watched it a bunch of times--it's grown on me.
Revolutions, however, is unmitigated crap. Stick a fork in this series--it's done.
Well, I'll go against the grain here. I just got back from seeing it. I was pretty impressed. It is only a story, not the second/third coming. Some people (not you guys) might have been expecting too much. From a effects perspective it was amazing. Effects were amazing. They said that the fight scene in Zion cost more than most movies.
Reloaded- The plot may suck but the car chase was pretty damn cool to watch.
Revolution- The plot may suck but when all those guns are firing in the air it was pretty damn cool.
Its amazing how Wakowski brothers managed with what was probably a nearly unlimited budget and incredible momentum coming off of the first two films to create such cinematic diarrhea. I just found it incredible how shitty the acting was and how contrived the dialogue was. Perhaps if they took away the plot and dialogue leaving only the fight scenes intact then it might have been a decent movie.
I don't know, toward the end of Reloaded when he's talking to the archietect (sp?), 'BULLSHIT!' had me practally rolling on the ground. So what other gems has Neo brought us?Quote:

Woah
I know kung-fu
Others?
if it is not a good movie by itself, would you recommend Alchohol, weed, or mushrooms to enhance the experience? if i would need all three to have a good time then i wont go see it.
I vowed not to see this movie the instant I was forced to see Keanu's ass in reloaded.
I just saw this movie and I say....
Booooooooooooooooo....
While not exactly Neo...Quote:

While I haven't seen it yet, this critic's comment was hilarious:
""so disappointing they may as well have bussed in Ewoks to save Zion."
-- Christopher Null,FILMCRITIC.CO
I can't believe that people still spend their hard earned money on going to hollywood movies. 99% are complete garbage, all you need is a "star" actor and some computer generated effects, forget about plot or substance......and the people continue to eat it up. I quit going to movies about 5 yrs ago ......honestly, they are all an insult to my intelligence....and I can't believe more people don't feel the same way.
Now back to The Matrix, I haven't seen it , but I've read most of the books. So,.....if you really want to know what's going on I suggest you start with - " Matrix III volume 1 The Psycho-Social,Chemical,Biological and Electromagnetic Manipulation of Human Consciousness" it's very informative and has nothing to do with people flying around karate fighting.
I'd say if you really wanted to know whats going on you watch the damn show and not read some scientific book!!!!!Quote:

I think the almost non-existent promotion in advance of Revolutions was a testament to how throughly Reloaded had screwed the franchise's pooch. Movies that tread this sort of territory often teeter on the edge of credibility and the Matrix has lapsed into 'busted flush' status.
Plus the fact that the ticket seller was asking people for their belts and shoelaces before entering the auditorium was a clue that it wasn't gonna be good.
Do some fucking work bitches.....
I saw it. I liked it.
But I'm a sucker for special effects. The plot was thin. The love interest between Neo and Trinity was almost as pathetic as the one between Morpheus and Niobe.
The Zion fight scene made up for all the films shortcomings though. Two words - DAAA AAMN!
That's allright by me. ;)Quote:

Um, I thought that this was the end of the series. Didn't it seem open for another round to you guys? And I was really expecting to see something pretty amazing when they took all the people out of those bath pods.
Most of us know it's garbage, but frankly, I don't think that's the point. At a certain point, we're too fried to read, to talk, to think, to be on the damn computer. I actually find movies to be a great escape, and I can watch the biggest piece of crap movie and still feel like I got away from the tedium of life for a little bit. Not all movies are created to get us thinking and learning. Most are just to take us to another place for a little bit.Quote:

But that's just me.
