...and loved every second of it.

Alta was super fast, super smooth, and super sweet. Somebody groomed the whole mountain and then covered it with 3 inches of butter. Can you say, "Three turns down West Rustler"? Many laps off the high T yielded similar results - big shit eating grins as I skied into liftline. With the new lift, there are some new mini pow stashes as well, right below **** ****.

Around 11 the clouds lifted and lit up the place. Very beautiful. I really want to get one of those helmet cams from sportzshot. If you guys want to sponsor me, I promise to upload footage often. Today would have been sweet to film with all the superfast skiing.

I knew I should have gone up today. I convinced myself to work instead to help make up for that lift ticket I bought yesterday at Solitude. I love buttery windbuff. What still hasn't opened? Did they open backside and ballroom today?

i was kinda hoping that they would get supreme bowl and catherines open today but it was still a fucking awesome day. saw a huge slide rip down the backside as i was eating breakfast this morning, i was surprised they got it open. tomorrow should be a good day, get to ski till noon before i have the privelage of washing dishes for 8 hours.

So no supreme bowl or catherine's either? Could be good tomorrow, depending on what the warm weather does to the snow...

Zone Day for sure; all day!!! From being the first one in High Boy - right down the gut suckas, to racing Stomp-a-jawia Burks down West Rus all morning, to seeing JT huck the whole North Rus cliff band and then two turn to the transfer tow, to hitting the Tube in Glo Hole and jibbing the flank line, to the final JONG run, to catching all the :) Campers on the way to the truck. Today was a special day that will not soon be forgotten.

Tomorrow in-bounds won't suck either with Ballroom, Castle, Supreme Bowl and Catherines slated to open.

Even the slide debri skied good today - powdered sugar baby :D

BTW, if we can keep Altard from stumbling drunk down > stairs at Christmas this year, he's gonna be the one to beat - the kid is skiing good - just need to get him away from the whiny biatches and push him a little more. ;)

Getting a tour of the goods from str8line and then B. Moles did not suck. Very good stuff today, first run down gunsight was smooth. Then after a full day of ripping around we got some avy intruction from the man himself, J. Conway.

I better rest up tonight, tommorow I get to ski with Nobis.

P.S. You get a whole new perspective on what a good skier is after following those guys.

P.P.P.S thanks ICE and Shin, and GT40 and everyone else who made things possible, especially Str8, this camp is AWESOME....and also big thanks to Conway, and Moles for coming in to school us as well. i can already feel a big difference, not to mention a bit more confidence from the difference in my skiing. The avie talk was especially excellent and i think a key part of making this camp even more worth every penny, or nickel change as the case may be. ;)
