Anyone going anywhere? I see that the Lake has opened some lifts up top. Has anyone checked it out yet?
I am probably headed (yet again) to Sunshine since I have to pay at Louise and I doubt the coverage is worth it right now. Anyone want to meet up for turns? I will be on the board (with snowshoes), or tele skis, or AT gear in case the Standish OB stuff has filled in with snow since we scalped it last weekend. :D
Sadly, it's christmas party weekend for me and our company one is up in Edm so no skiing for me.
Thinking of heading out tomorrow for a few hours, though.
I assume you'll be at the Lake tomorrow. (Or are you talking COP? ;) ) I'm thinking of going tomorrow as well, but not sure I can justify Louise quite yet. Post an update on conditions and what's skiable.Quote:

I'm heading into K-Country Saturday. I was at Sunshine last weekend and I'm up there all next weekend. I figured I'd mix it up a bit. Haven't been out there since October.
Hey Bodhi, welcome to the funny farm. Your not missing so much this year not being able to come to the GWN, snow has been sadly lacking so far. Although it looks like we may get some this weekend.
Didn't make it as far as Mammy last spring, only got to Bachelor in Oregon and ended up staying all week as it just kept on snowing. Maybe this year. Or else we'll have to rendevous some where else. Maybe JH for the Summit (See the Summit Forum for info on that)
Meanwhile, send me you addy via email (I'm still at the same address) and I'll see what I can do for you re: some Cdn suds.

Exchange rate is the best it's been in a decade+, the way your dollars going things may be switching soon as far as deals go. Don't think you're going to get a jug of beer and $20.00 cdn in change from a US $20.00 any more.

Was out at Burstall Pass today. Got stuff to do tomorrow. Should be packing the car right now for Sunshine, but can't get away. Have fun in the POW should be sweet up there tomorrow.
