Who's going where? Who's doing what?
If the last two years prove to be an enduring trend, I will be sleeping in anticipation of a SICK pow day on the 1st.
I have two open invitations for Mammoth, but other than the possibility of some sick skiing, it's not all that exciting. Never been to Tahoe for New Years, and I hear it's quite the good time.
Sleeping so I can get up at about 4am and start driving to Jackson...
I probably won't know until the 31st, and won't remember come the 1st. But if it is anything like last year, it will probably involve a deck, some snow, a little captain, some soco, a lot of beer, champagne, momosso, and some serious regurge, Thelonius style. And then a couch.
I will be in South Lake, doing whatever hardrider and those guys are. Kind of hope the same thing they did last year :D
Either a.) Working and getting drunk with my coworkers at the ski shop.
b.) Getting drunk at all the wonderful bars in downtown Minneapolis.
c.) Getting drunk at a house party.
d.) Getting drunk at all the wonderful bars in downtown Kalamazoo.
...I'm not an alcohalic...
"it's not all that exciting"
Mammoth sucks for New Years.....but the past 2-years have served-up the biggest storms over that week. $75 flat for the Lack-o-nookie priviledge. get there early.
No idea what I'll be doing, but I have a job and a car and a 3 day weekend to spend money that I really shouldn't spend. I'd be stoked to git some skiing in though. Somebody invite me somewhere for booze and skiing and hotties.
South Beach chassing woman getting psyched to watch USC kick who evers ass were playing in the Orange Bowl!!
Helicrackjnky's got some mighty fine plans, he sure does.
I would normally suggest north Tahoe for the killer party we usually throw at PlumpJack, but we're taking a break this year and not throwing it. South Lake goes "off" but as others mentioned above, the real thing to watch is the weather. The last three years have had the biggest storms of the season, with no one out on the 1st. My usual program of not sleeping and staggering to first chair has reaped plenty of rewards over the years. We can onlyhope this year is no different, weather-wise.
Shouldn't this read, "Who's doing who?"Quote:

FKNA Dingleberry. You continue to outdo yourself with avatars.
-edit- whether or not that's a good thing is still up for debate.
Skiing!!!
Most likley in Alta sleading down the hill drunk late night like the past 8 out of 10 years.
If not there where ever the storm is going to hit! Jackson, Steamboat or Taos.
Ugh...well you all have a good one for me and enjoy the skiing. I've got a two-month trial that starts on the 3rd (in the armpit of Washington).
Barring some miracle...I will NOT be skiing for some time BUT after this thing is over I'm taking a couple weeks and hitting both SLC and Whistler.
