Boots and changing ski syles

OK - have skied tele for many many years - yet now, maybe only 20-25 days a year. Now riding Verdicts w/ Fritschi and Scarpa Tornado.

My question (and feedback) is that I now have a new set of Czars (190) and will be mounting Jesters. Are the Scarpa's strong enough / capable for the ski/binder as mentioned?

Should I get a full on alpine boot (Ghost or similar)? (if so - than I'm also looking to buy a boot - 26 - 26.5)

I still ski hard (in my mind) and have not had alpine boots in almost 20 years...
